What a day! Voices of Praise presented their Easter Cantata this morning...it was very nice. Beautiful music with words that just made you think of how grateful we should be for a life given freely.
Excited about Easter coming up soon and not just because it gives me an excuse to eat Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs...but this will be the first Spring break I will have had off in the last 4 yrs. to spend with kids. I know Jess will work some days but hopefully we can get in one or two days to the beach.
Looking forward to tomorrow. I think that this week will officially start me being "off". It's taken me awhile to get used to doing nothing. Well, maybe because folks have kept me busy. Kids back to school, and Kevin to work, and me & my laundry will have an all day date! And I must say I am looking forward to it. I am going to call Dr. & see if Ican get something for this sinus thingy I have going on. Can breathe better but now some pain has settled in...that's never good.
Sitting here watching puppy sleeping, Jessica gone walking, Chris watching some musical show on TV.
Don't know if I have written about newly acquired puppy since I have been blogging. His name is Black Jack and he's adorable! Mickey (my Spitz) has finally accepted him and the cat (Spot) makes a daily home visit long enough to get food...so at least I know he's alive still. The puppy has learned to leave that little beast with the claws alone real quick. :-)
It is funny to watch them all in the kitchen together...eyeing each other warily to make sure they only eat out of their own bowls. *sigh* It's very "unfunny" when one make the mistake of eating the other's vittles.
But as puppy lies here sleeping with his bone cuddled between his paws, looking so peaceful, you get that "Awwww feeling...".
Well ,that's about all that's going on this weekend. Thinking of going in here to my room and take me a little nap. So until next time,
