Grapevines, Gas and Bumble Bees

Lots of adventures going on since my last blog...well, came home last week to find my brother had come over and cut my grass and finished trimming up my grapevine I had started on back in February. Things at my house are backwards...hubby has gout and rhuematoid arthritis...so any outside work for him puts him out of commission. So I do the outside and he takes over the cooking. For the most part it works out fine except last year I went through some things that made it difficult for me to do hardly anything! And I actually enjoy the outside work...hard or not. So, as I was dredging up the energy to cut my grass, the decision was taken out of my hands. I was able to do the trim work and the ditches and be done and yard looks pretty good!
It's good to have a brother...my twin actually. No, we don't feel each other's pain...although any time I have been hurt, he gets hurt 10x worse. I got glasses, he got his eye swollen from hitting the side of a big freezer on out outside porch. I got a headache, he falls off the bed (from jumping back and forth!) and busts his head. I stepped on a bee once...he was playing in ditch a couple of days later and cut his foot wide open!
Tried to burn grapevine...2 1/2 gallons of gas later and it's still here! It's too green Kevin said....I think gas had water in it! As I was trimming some bushes, a nest of ground bees welcomed me gung ho! Butterflies and dragonflies are already out and about. I actually have felt much better getting some exercise outside. I have slept so well lately!
Suppertime!
